DESCRIPTION:After a beautiful first edition\, Luna House & Dirty Dishes bring back Ceramic Workshop! \nWrap yourself in a relaxing experience of working with clay\, learning new techniques\, and creating your own objects in an inspiring and lovely environment. \nThe event starts with 1-hour yoga practice so you feel relaxed and set your mind open to the creative flow. \nFollowing yoga\, the ceramic workshop starts\, and you will learn basic hand-building modulation techniques\, such as coiling\, slabbing\, and pinching. \nThe last hour will be used to paint the pieces with engobe\, which is color pigments mixed with the slip from the same body clay as the pieces. \nThe purpose of this modulation process is for the participants to be able to build a utilitarian object or/and sculpture with an artistic painting on it. \n**After this\, the participants will have to wait a minimum of 2 weeks to have their pieces back bisque (first kiln) and glazed (second kiln). \n\nEvent schedule:\n10am-11am YOGA\n11am-2pm CERAMIC WORKSHOP\n\nSee you there! \nLuna House & Dirty Dishes
