Kirtan – an evening of chanting in togetherness.
Presented by musicians from Ashram Ram Dass Guru
This Kirtan will be led by a group of musicians with instruments such as guitar, drums, and harmonium.
The word Kirtan means devotional chanting.
It is the moment when we come together to connect and tune in to our inner self.
You can either join in and chant or you can listen in. Both ways can serve as a meditative and healing process.
At this Kirtan we will be chanting mantras in Gurmukhi from Kundalini Yoga tradition.
The word mantra literally means a mental wave, a mental vibration.
So repeating a mantra can help us to quiet the mind and find an inner peace within ourselves.
We look forward to welcoming you to this event.
